  1. What is a component?
  2. How do I access the settings for a component?

This text explains what the term “component” means and how to access the settings for that component.

What is a component?

A component refers to a specific block on an information board that displays certain information. In the photo below, you can see, for example, that “who is working today”, “meal planning”, and “activity calendar” are all examples of components.

How do I access the settings for a component?

  1. Within the online environment, go to your information board. Then select “edit board”. You will find this option in the top right corner of the screen.

  2. You will now see that each component has its own black pencil icon.

If you click on it, a settings window will open, displaying various options.
