In this guide, we will take you through working with roles in a day care setting. If you are a location with an information board and multiple departments or groups where clients work according to a worklist per department or group, this can be a valuable addition.

For this feature, you need your own tablet or mobile device with the MijnEigenPlan app installed. This explicitly concerns a location-bound tablet or phone and not a user’s personal phone or tablet used for individual MijnEigenPlan use.

The user can then scan the QR code below, which is displayed on an information board, with the app on the location’s tablet or mobile device. This way, they can take the tablet or mobile device to the department and check off tasks.

How do I set this up?

In the following steps, we will show you how to set everything up after activating this feature:

step 1: Setting up worklists (Role/Function) step 2: Setting up the display on the information board step 3: Scheduling roles/functions via: direct planning on the information board

Still can’t figure it out? Feel free to schedule a moment to ask your question. You can contact us via info@mijneigenplan.nl

Step 1: Setting up worklists (Role/Function)

Once the daily schedule for roles and functions has been filled in, you no longer need to worry about it. Except when changes are made to the daily structure of a role or function.

  1. Go to the Role/functions button from the online environment
  1. Create a role/function calendar by pressing the gray + button:

  2. Add or modify the tasks belonging to the assigned role or function within the department in this calendar. To learn more about planning in a calendar, follow our useful <a href=https://mijneigenplan.nl/elearning/individueel/voordat_je_beginttarget="_blank">e-learning

also use the step-by-step plan here! This is how it will be displayed on the user's tablet or mobile device

Step 2: Setting up the display on the information board

  1. In this example, we use the component: Who will do what / assign tasks:
  1. Now you will select a calendar in which the roles/functions are to be scheduled. In this example, it concerns the calendar: Bakery baking schedule. After checking, click select and then review all settings. Once everything is correct, you can click save in the bottom right:

  2. Now that the calendar has been selected, roles/functions still need to be scheduled in this calendar:

  • Open the calendar you selected via calendars, in this example, baking schedule. Now click the + button next to a day …

  • … to add a role/function.

  • finally, you can add a photo or person. You can also set a repeat pattern:

  1. The QR code for a role/function that you have scheduled in a calendar is visible on the information board:

A video has been made for step 1 & step 2:

Step 3: Scheduling roles/functions via: direct planning on the information board

  1. To prepare a library with roles and functions for planning on the information board, go from the online environment to library –> activities –> Add own library –> and give it a custom name. For example: Roles/functions.

  2. You will see in the left column that your library has been created. Click on it and add an activity:

  3. You can now add one or more roles:

  4. Through the settings of the component on the information board, it must still be enabled that you can plan from this library. More information about this can be found in the manual:

  5. Now the roles/functions are available on the information board for planning on the information board.
