Add Helper

With a helper in MijnEigenPlan, you have a personal assistant on your own phone, exactly when you need it, who can guide you step-by-step.

For example, when you want to do a household chore and need some help with the sequence.

What is a helper?

You add a helper on the MijnEigenPlan website, and it assists you in a specific situation: for example, “In the kitchen”, “In the bathroom”, or “At the bus station”.

You then add tasks, step-by-step plans, or even a video to the helper that can assist in that situation.

Create the helpers together with your supervisor or a family member; you can then directly access the instructions you normally need with the helper.

Create a new helper

You create helpers in the online environment at mijneigenplan.nl

1. Log in to the MijnEigenPlan website and navigate to your own page
2. Click on “Helpers”
3. Now click on “Add helper” and choose a name for a situation or place at home / at work. For example, “In the kitchen” or “On the bus”
4. You will now see a new helper appear in the list!

Add step-by-step plans to a helper

A step-by-step plan describes how to do something with clear, separate, and tickable steps. This is useful to add to a helper.

1. Click on the “+” icon of the helper to which you want to add the step-by-step plan.
2. Now click on the type of step-by-step plan
3. Set a description, optionally choose an image and color.
4. Click on ‘Add step’ and add the steps of this task or action one by one.
5. Click on ‘Save’ at the bottom of the popup You will now see the step-by-step plan appear directly under the helper.
