Set up a Reward System

With MijnEigenPlan’s reward system, you can link rewards to the completion of tasks and step-by-step plans. You can then save points and exchange them for a reward. This can be extra motivating!

Enabling

1. Click the button: Individual

2. Select the relevant person.

3. Select edit

4. Select Enable points system and click Save

Do you want to automatically approve points? Then check automatically approve points when a task is completed. If you want to manually award points, for example, because you first want to check if the task has been performed correctly. Do not check this option.

Link points to tasks

1. In the relevant person’s environment, go to planning

2. Add a new task or select an existing task to edit it.

3. Enter the desired number of points under Points to earn and click Save

Set up rewards

1. In the relevant person’s environment, go to Rewards (1)

2. Click + New reward(2)

3. Enter the name of the reward and how many points it costs to receive this reward. Optionally add a longer description or an image. Then click Save

Start saving

The person using the app can save points by completing tasks and step-by-step plans. Points are not immediately added to the balance for a completed task if they first need to be approved by a parent or supervisor. (See point 5 above)

Awarding points

1. Go to the relevant person’s online environment.
2. Click about
3. Approve the points for the relevant task

The point balance has now been updated and is visible to the app user. If enough points have been saved, they can be exchanged for a reward.
