Our mission
More control and overview, so people feel more confident
The story behind Routine Factory
More peace of mind for the client. More insight for the support worker.
Routine Factory wasn't born in a meeting room, but at the kitchen table. Out of the need to make the day clear and doable, with simple tools that help people move forward step by step. What started at home grew, with feedback from clients, relatives and support workers, into the system that today runs at more than 300 care organisations.
Routine Factory: a solution for both the client and the support worker
Clients need overview and predictability. Support workers need peace of mind, time and focus. Most solutions support either the client or the support worker. Routine Factory does both: it makes the day visible for everyone, on the information board and in the app. That way clients become more independent, and support workers have more time left for real contact.
Ger
Where it began
Ger has children with ASD and saw at home, every day, how much difference a predictable day makes. Knowing what's coming brings peace of mind, and room to grow. In his environment there was a need for support with structure, and it didn't exist. So he came up with something himself.
Wouter
From idea to app
Fellow student and close friend Wouter built the first version of the app together with Ger. What began as a solution for one family now runs at hundreds of locations. And the people who use it still determine where Routine Factory goes next: clients, relatives and support workers know best, after all, what's needed.
Our team
Our team works every day toward the same goal: making the day clear, organised and doable. Practical and caring, just as you'd expect from us. And what keeps us motivated? The responses we get almost daily from clients, relatives and support workers. That's what we do it for.
